187 people came together to contribute over $17,000 to make bringing MILTON to Milton, NC a reality. We are, as always, humbled and so grateful to have this kind of support from both people we know and people we don’t, people who are directly impacted by the project and people who aren’t, people who are fellow artists and others who are arts enthusiasts. We are thrilled to dive in to the next phase of work on the piece. After are super helpful and productive workshop at Brown University in February, Lisa and Katie will head to ACT in San Francisco with composer Brendan Connelly to work with MFA students on taking the script and sound to the next level. Then in June we’ll be part of Berkeley’s Ground Floor residency program to bring video and design back into the mix. Then… onto rehearsals in NYC, and production in NC in August!
