Hi Everyone, we just finished a wonderful residency at Appalachian State University, where we got to do a 4 hour mini-version of HOW TO BUILD A FOREST. It was our first step of moving from the theoretical and prototypical (one tree up in the happyland space; trying out a proto-self guided tour; doing a performer workshop to look at some ideas) to the actual and the real! Students, faculty, and staff all joined in with a great amount of enthusiasm, and really expanded the conversation for us in wonderful ways… plus we got a ton of information about how we’ll be moving forward with our ideas and visions. Thank you so much for our core team of visual artists, actors, musicians and business majors who were our builders and our rangers… you have helped us more than you know!
