We just returned from our very first visit to our very first Milton– we had a fantastic time, met some great folks, and learned a TON– both about the town, and also about how (and how not!) to talk to people and what (and what not!) to talk about. Thanks to the folks at Winter Valley who invited us to their coffee social, friendly members of the Milton Library staff, Don up at Blue Hill Weather Observatory who brought us up to the roof just as the sun was setting, the women at Snow Goose Yarn shop, and some lovely people at First Parish Unitarian Church who first talked with us for an hour, then treated us to fried clams, onion rings, and a town tour. We’re looking forward to our future visits– and because it’s only an hour from where Katie is living now, those visits can happen soon. Next Milton on our list… Milton, FL!
