The PearlDamour + Shawn Hall team is coming closer to full scale installation experiments for HOW TO BUILD A FOREST…. here in New Orleans we’re mapping, building and working with performers, all in preparation for a work-in-progress showing at Appalachian State in February. Katie recently spent a day on Grand Isle, one of Louisiana’s barrier islands, where part of the beach is no longer closed off from the Oil Spill– she’s happy to report she saw lots of dolphins jumping around pretty close to shore!
